Integrated Integration Trip- Adventure Gold-Coast III

Looking back at the past months of living in Accra as a trainee, I tend to wonder what group of people I'd spent the most of my time with- AIESEC members or trainees. I'd realised that these AIESECers will not start to realise I'm a trainee and stop to see me as that PDU Chair who came to Chair the NatConf of October, 2005.

This weekend as another opportunity to get an invitation from AIESEC in Legon meant to rcreate a forum for AIESEC members and trainees to interact;). The participants on this trip were going to be a perfect mix for me- I could appear in my trainee and die-hard AIESEC member skins at will:)

We went on a trip to a beach about 10km away from Accra. We had a full-load of 2 "tro-tro" buses each with the capacity of at least 30 pasengers.

Asides the mixed-company, that was on the trip, we had a lot of fun geared up for the day. We started with playing volley-ball, then switched to football, where I had the great grand opportunity to be in the colours of my favourite English Team, Chelsea.

Since I had to play from the left wing and lay nice passes to my top-strikers, I put in my best to create 2 assists and was near a scoring a world-class goal in a match that saw "Chelsea" defeating "Man U" 2 to 1. (don't worry about my football skills that sucks...I just found myself playing good football for Chelsea):).

The day was a great one...we also played some kidish games but building castles with the sand. Just to let you know, my team won in the castle-building contest;)...It was a great weekend...One to be remember always:) Adventure Gold-Coast getting nicer;)
